Homage (2020)

Homage is my pandemic project. It turned into an introspective autobiographical journey, as I realized that once the pandemic is over, I am not coming back to live in my hometown. The images are of places I grew up in and the forests surrounding them. 

Through this project, I tried to showcase the way I felt about how I grew up, while employing abstract enough imagery so that other people will empathize as well.

I decided I’d break chains all my life and this is just one of the ways I found that works. Most of my work seems to be about this.
